What you’ll do:

  • Understand the competitive landscape and prospect needs so you can effectively position the value of Gideon Taylor’s proprietary enterprise technology solutions, Peoplesoft and Oracle’s innovative products and deployment methodologies, and Professional Managed Services.
  • Present overviews of Gideon Taylor products and Peoplesoft/Oracle Customer Services and conduct product and services discovery sessions.
  • Create and validate Professional Services Proposals and high-level Project Plans.
  • Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with Service Partners.
  • Assess project team training needs for prospects and customers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.
  • Hunt, manage, negotiate, and close Product and Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and other contractual documentation.
  • Provide support for services, activities, and events.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in ERP Software and/or Professional Services Sales in ERP /SaaS environment.
  • Solid experience in Business Development, Sales, Managed Services, Projects, or Staff Augmentation.
  • Experience in the Commercial, Healthcare, Public Sector, and/or Higher Education sectors

Other Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in managing sophisticated software and/or service sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful service revenue and profitability attainment.
  • New Business ERP Development.
  • Ability to understand and effectively explain the benefits of cloud and SaaS architecture.
  • Work with RFP, SOWs, Managed Services, and Technical Projects.
  • Solid understanding of vendors, products, and services in the Financials, SCM, and/or HCM Enterprise Application space.
  • Great presentation skills while participating in a fast-paced, sophisticated product and services sales cycle.
  • Exceptional management of time and resources to support critical sales cycles.
  • Standout colleague, with the capability of working collaboratively and independently.
  • Ability to describe and explain financial business process flows and understand critical elements to optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
