Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee all aspects of our accounts payable process. A clear understanding of the importance of processing timely payments to vendors is critical. To be successful in this role, you will need to fully understand and follow our processes and procedures including month-end requirements and deadlines. While accounts payable will be your focus, there will also be other day-to-day administrative and/or accounting responsibilities assigned as identified. The right candidate will be experienced, organized, and articulate as well as analytical, detail- oriented, honest, and willing to be taught. This is a 40-hour-per-week, on-site employment opportunity.
Requirements and Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping
- Minimum of 1-year previous experience in accounts payable
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
- Extreme attention to detail
- High level of efficiency and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Maintain regular attendance habits
- Has initiative, resourcefulness, analytical ability, ability to deal effectively and harmoniously with all groups and individuals, including the executive team and senior management
- Must be able to communicate articulately, comprehend written and verbal communications, and function efficiently under stress
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations
- Display ethical behavior with confidential information
Position Details
- Full-time, onsite; full health, dental and vision package, strong retirement and leave plan
- Compensation will be determined based on experience but anticipated to be within $50-60,000
annually.
