Building on one of the longest-running Gideon Taylor success stories, Brigham Young University has chosen to implement GT Paperless I-9™ and GT E-Verify Integration™. BYU took most of their hiring processes completely paperless in 2005 using GT ePAF™, with the exception of the Form I-9, which at that point could only be completed on paper. Using the GT Paperless I-9™, they will now break that final paper barrier.
The GT Paperless I-9™ will also be enhanced for kiosk-based use, appropriate for BYU's centralized I-9 completion process.
Like most US research universities, BYU became subject to the E-Verify Federal Contractor Rule this month, requiring that employees working on certain federal contracts have their employment eligibility verified using the Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system. The GT E-Verify Integration™ will make this process practically automatic, reducing data entry and required training, and enhancing compliance.
