As the University of the Sunshine Coast approached the testing phase of its GT eTime™ implementation, they realized that their new online timesheets were going to generate a lot of eForm approvals for managers. Instead of having to go into each timesheet to review and take action, what if a page were created that presented a 'worklist view' of all pending eForms and enabled the approver to take action on any or all of them directly from that page? Introducing GT Action Center™!
The new GT Action Center™ is similar to the PeopleSoft Worklist, but provides enough summary detail for each eForm in queue to allow the approver to evaluate each change or request that's being presented and take action on it from within the list. The image below shows an approver's view of the GT Action Center™ with multiple eForms in queue. Forms can be presented in order of preference or priority, and each form type (e.g. Hire, Job Change, I-9) can have unique color coding.
The approver can also drill directly into each eForm for additional information, or access pop-ups from the GT Action Center™ view to display more detail. With GT Action Center™, approvals have just gotten a whole lot easier and faster.
